The Department of Islamic Studies, JPI, organised the Contests Prize Presentation Ceremony to fete 208 students from Arabic and Religious schools who won various co-curricular competitions organised by JPI throughout this year. It took place at Dewan Majlis Building.

Prizes were presented by Yang Berhormat Dayang Hajah Safiah binti Sheikh Haji Abd Salam, Member of the Legislative Council. 12 contests were held throughout the year, 6 for Arabic School students, and 6 for religious school students. The event is an annual activity of the Co-Curriculum Division, JPI to express appreciation and as an incentive for students to continue to strive for success in the field of education and co-curricular activities, towards shaping a generation with moral, and are knowledgeable, and competitive.
